Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was six years old. Comaneci competed for the first time at the national junior championships and finished 13th. In the following year, she won the title of champion. In her first international competition in 1972 a pre-Olympic junior meet for the communist-bloc countries she won three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1974, she was an the all-around junior champion. At her first competitive event in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva of Russia won five gold medals as well with one silver. In 1976, she became the first person in the world to utilize a reversed double salto in order to take off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She started her career as an entertainment professional in her teens in which she was a part of the figure skating duo of the sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol began her journey into the world of entertainment in her teens. Her first professional gig was figure skating along with Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment programs Ice Capades. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating shows.
